Les Andelysis a communeon the river Seine in theUpper Normandyregion of northernFrance, some 30 km northeast of Évreux. As the name might suggest, Les Andelys is divided into its two original components: Grand-Andely and Petit-Andely. Les Andelys is best known for theruins of Château Gaillardsituated on a hill above the town from where beautiful views of the river Seine and the surrounding countryside can be enjoyed.
